Terms of Service for Nordic Prime Meat House
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of services provided by Nordic Prime Meat House, including the purchase of fresh meat products, custom butchery services, specialty preparations, and wholesale supply. By placing an order, making a purchase, or otherwise using the services of Nordic Prime Meat House, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Introduction and acceptance of terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the customer and Nordic Prime Meat House, with its registered address at Nordhavnsgade 21, 2150 Nordhavn, København. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the services or place any order.
By accessing, ordering from, or otherwise engaging with Nordic Prime Meat House, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you are acting on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
2. Scope of services
Nordic Prime Meat House provides the following services and products:
- Fresh beef, pork, lamb, and poultry cuts;
- Custom butchery and portioning;
- Specialty sausages and minced meat preparation;
- Marinated meats for grilling and roasting;
- Wholesale supply for restaurants and cafés.
Product availability may vary depending on seasonal supply, stock levels, and regulatory requirements. Nordic Prime Meat House reserves the right to substitute products of equivalent quality where necessary, subject to applicable law and customer approval where reasonably required.
All products are intended for lawful consumption and handling in accordance with food safety rules. Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are stored, prepared, cooked, and consumed safely.
3. User obligations and responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information when placing orders or creating accounts;
- Ensure that all orders are placed by persons with legal capacity to contract;
- Comply with all applicable food handling, storage, and hygiene requirements after delivery or collection;
- Inspect products promptly upon receipt and notify Nordic Prime Meat House of any visible defects, shortages, or non-conformities without undue delay;
- Use products only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable Danish and EU food safety regulations;
- Not misuse the services, including by providing false information, attempting fraud, or interfering with the operation of the business.
For wholesale customers, the customer is responsible for ensuring that its own employees, contractors, and end users comply with all relevant food safety and consumer protection obligations.
4. Payment terms and conditions
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and may include or exclude VAT depending on the context of the offer or invoice. Applicable VAT will be charged in accordance with Danish law.
Payment must be made using the payment methods accepted by Nordic Prime Meat House at the time of order or invoice. For wholesale customers, payment terms may be agreed separately in writing. If no separate agreement exists, payment is due immediately upon invoice or delivery, as specified.
Nordic Prime Meat House reserves the right to require advance payment, partial payment, or security for large, custom, or wholesale orders. In the event of late payment, statutory interest and any reasonable collection costs may be charged in accordance with applicable Danish law.
Prices may change at any time prior to order confirmation. Once an order has been confirmed, the confirmed price will apply unless there is an obvious pricing error or a change is required by law.
5. Cancellation and refund policy
Because Nordic Prime Meat House supplies perishable food products and custom-prepared meat products, cancellation and refund rights are limited to the extent permitted by Danish and EU consumer law.
- Orders for perishable goods, including fresh meat, marinated products, sausages, minced meat, and custom-cut items, are generally excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where applicable law permits such exclusion.
- Custom-made or personalized products, including portioning or special preparation according to customer specifications, are not refundable unless they are defective, non-conforming, or otherwise required by law.
- If a product is delivered damaged, spoiled, missing, or materially non-conforming, the customer must notify Nordic Prime Meat House as soon as reasonably possible and no later than within a reasonable time after discovery.
- Where a refund, replacement, or credit note is approved, Nordic Prime Meat House will determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law and the nature of the issue.
For wholesale orders, any cancellation terms may be governed by the specific contract, purchase order, or written agreement. In the absence of such agreement, cancellation of custom or perishable orders is not accepted once preparation has begun.
6. Liability limitations
Nordic Prime Meat House is liable only to the extent required by mandatory Danish law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to mandatory law, Nordic Prime Meat House shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses;
- Loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or loss of data;
- Damage arising from improper storage, handling, preparation, or cooking after delivery or collection;
- Losses caused by inaccurate information provided by the customer;
- Delays or failures caused by force majeure or third-party service providers beyond reasonable control.
To the extent permitted by law, the total liability of Nordic Prime Meat House for any claim arising out of or in connection with an order or service shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
7. Intellectual property rights
All content, materials, trademarks, logos, product descriptions, photographs, recipes, designs, and other intellectual property used by Nordic Prime Meat House remain the property of Nordic Prime Meat House or its licensors, unless otherwise stated.
Customers are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use such materials solely for the purpose of purchasing and using the services of Nordic Prime Meat House. No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or used commercially without prior written consent, except where mandatory law permits otherwise.
8. Data protection and privacy
Nordic Prime Meat House processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Danish Data Protection Act, and other applicable privacy laws.
Personal data may be collected and processed for purposes including order handling, payment processing, delivery, customer service, accounting, legal compliance, and business administration. Where necessary, data may be shared with trusted service providers such as payment processors, delivery partners, IT providers, and accounting services, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Customers have rights under applicable data protection law, including rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, subject to legal limitations. Further information about data processing may be provided in a separate privacy policy, if available.
9. Force majeure
Nordic Prime Meat House shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Fire, flood, storm, or other natural events;
- War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government action;
- Power outages, equipment failure, or supply chain disruption;
- Transport interruptions;
- Labor disputes, strikes, or lockouts;
- Outbreaks, epidemics, or other public health emergencies;
- Failure of third-party suppliers or service providers.
Where a force majeure event occurs, Nordic Prime Meat House may suspend performance for the duration of the event and, where necessary, cancel affected orders without liability beyond any mandatory refund obligations under applicable law.
10. Changes to terms
Nordic Prime Meat House may update or amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, business practices, or services. The version in force at the time of order placement or service use shall apply, unless a change is required by law or expressly agreed otherwise.
Updated Terms will take effect upon publication or notification, as applicable. Continued use of the services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be brought before the competent courts of Denmark. If mandatory consumer protection rules grant the customer the right to bring proceedings in another forum, such rights remain unaffected.

The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Any invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a lawful provision that most closely reflects the original intent of Nordic Prime Meat House and the customer, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
